Course lising

The cruise starts at the Vienna / Reichsbrücke boat station and takes you downstream along the impressive skyline of the Danube plateau. Shortly after setting sail, there are spectacular views of some of the city’s most striking buildings: the DC Tower, the tallest building in Vienna, the Danube Tower, which dominates the cityscape with its 252 meters, and the Millennium Tower, which is considered one of the landmarks of modern Vienna.

The journey continues towards Freudenau lock, past the Buddhist Pagoda, a peaceful building directly on the banks of the Danube. Here the ship turns and heads upstream. This route offers charming views of the Danube Island, a popular local recreation area for the Viennese, and the unspoiled nature of the Danube floodplains, which are among the last large alluvial forests in Europe.

The boat continues upstream towards Klosterneuburg. There, Klosterneuburg Abbey towers above the landscape with its imposing baroque architecture. Shortly before the return journey, the ship passes the Kuchelau harbor, an idyllic natural harbor that creates a very special atmosphere with its calm waters and surrounding green landscapes.

After this varied journey, the ship finally returns to the Vienna / Reichsbrücke boat station.
