A versatile lounge that can be used both indoors and outdoors, spacious open-air areas and modern on-board equipment including a projector, screen and more are special features for your event.

During the pre-Christmas season, the MS Wien is beautifully decorated as a “Viennese Advent Ship”, creating a particularly festive atmosphere on board.

Area of Operation

MS Wien operates on scheduled cruises and evening cruises in Vienna. In addition, the vessel is available for charter cruises and corporate events on the water.

At Home on the Danube

Built in 1998 at the Lux Shipyard in Mondorf am Rhein, MS Wien has been part of the DDSG Blue Danube fleet since 2013. During her transfer to Austria, the vessel travelled approximately 1,165 kilometres along the Rhine, Main and Danube rivers, passing through 63 locks.

Today, MS Wien combines modern facilities and flexible comfort with versatile applications on the Danube and the Danube Canal.
