Wachau Classics

Considered a classic among Austrian excursion ships, MS Wachau stands out with its well-balanced design and proud DDSG heritage.

Following a complete refurbishment in 2017/18, the vessel was redesigned in a traditional maritime style. Together with MS Dürnstein, which was extensively renovated in the authentic Wachau style in 2016, it is one of two modern DDSG vessels operating in the UNESCO World Heritage region of the Wachau.

Area of Operation

MS Wachau is at home on scheduled cruises in the Wachau Valley. In addition, the vessel is available for charter cruises and events on the Danube.

242 seats (66 on the main deck, 60* on the upper foredeck, 116 on the central upper deck)

Additional wine lounge on the main deck (no dining seats): 24 seats

*Of these, 16 seats can be used either as lounge seating or dining seating.

Maximum guest capacity depends on the selected table arrangement.
