The cruise departs from the Krems / Stein landing stage and travels upstream through the UNESCO World Heritage Wachau Valley to Melk.

Along the way, you will enjoy views of some of the region’s most famous landmarks, including Göttweig Abbey, the picturesque town of Dürnstein with its iconic blue church tower, the historic villages of Weißenkirchen and Spitz, and the impressive Aggstein Castle Ruins. Schönbühel Castle and the world-famous Melk Abbey can also be admired from a unique perspective on the water.

Between these highlights, steep vineyards, charming wine-growing villages, and the forested hills of the Dunkelsteinerwald shape the landscape. In Melk, the ship turns around and returns to Krems / Stein along the same scenic route.
