operation area

Evening themed cruises from Vienna and day trips
to the Wachau and Bratislava, Austria’s most famous charter ship

In 1987 the “Österreichische Schiffswerften” delivered the two structurally identical ships MS Admiral Tegetthoff and MS Prinz Eugen. The MS Admiral Tegetthoff leads the DDSG Blue Danube fleet. She is well Austria’s most famous charter ship and has already been completely renovated twice: 2001 in the Art Nouveau design and 2012 in the modern look without losing the maritime character. For better maneuverability – especially during berthing maneuvers – the ship has an electrically operated bow thruster. Echo sounder, radar and ship radio are among other things part of the equipment of the ship in order to navigate it safely.
